Alert Management
SNAPSHOT/TSC
can easily be set up to handle performance-related
alerts. These are independent of OS/400 alerts.
| A SNAPSHOT/TSC alert could be as
simple as "User David has used more than
15% of Interactive CPU". Version 6 can 'handle'
this via dropping his priority from 20 to 30.
If he does it again, send a message to the operator.

A nominated person can be informed via
either a beep, wave file, voice message or pager (country
dependent).
The operator has a Snapshot Alert Log.
They can go in and simply click on that Alert and
can 'undo' the change; that is restore David's priority
back to 20.
SNAPSHOT/TSC
can also monitor a given message queue and 'react'
using its Alert handling support.
