Capacity Planning
A very simple, and yet very powerful
performance simulation. We have added a simple capacity
planner that attempts to model the shift from one
AS/400 model to another. This simple planner is not
designed to provide 100% accurate predictions - but
will give you a picture of how a new system would
look if you applied a simple CPW equation to the system.
Some basic 'what-if' scenarios can be displayed with
changes to workloads and/or disk capacity.

| SNAPSHOT/TSC
monitors your AS/400 and provides critical data continuously,
as it happens. SNAPSHOT/TSC
has the ability to alert through a 'break' message,
voice prompt, pager message or even an email message.
It will also run commands or programs that can control
your workload. |
